APPLICATIONS - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!

Rather than everyone all trying to book in a panic on one day, to prevent the server crashing and to allow us time to make sure we make the best use of all the accommodation available, we will open applications for accommodation over a period of five days.

This means that you can fill in your application form at any time between 14.00 (UK TIME) 5 June 2024 until midnight on 9 June 2024.

We will then process all the applications and try to fit as many of you as possible into the accommodation (If you are booking separately from the rest of your party, if one of your party is selected then all of your applications will be subsequently linked to fill the cottage - but we would prefer it if you could all apply on one form!)

If your application is successful we will send you an email letting you know and requesting a deposit payment.

If your application is not successful we will send you an email to let you know that you have been placed on the waiting list.

It will take several days to send out all these emails but everyone will receive an email on or just after 28 June.

PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU ARE WILLING TO SHARE ACCOMMODATION THEN YOU ARE MORE LIKELY TO GET A PLACE AT THE WEEKEND - (IMPORTANT! - PLEASE READ THE SHARING ACCOMMODATION SECTION OF THE SITE FIRST!)

BOOKING PROCESS EXPLAINED

The booking form will be available for five days; after this period we will process every booking made within that time. This is equivalent to being in the waiting room of many major ticketing services (e.g. AXS, the Royal Albert Hall) where you are selected randomly to purchase your ticket regardless of when you entered the room.

However, unlike expensive computerised systems, applications for the Weekend are more complicated than for single ticketing. It will require some time to process groups that have requested to be together in a cottage, and for solo applicants and other "willing to share" parties to be matched appropriately.

Once we have a clear picture of the applications for each type of accommodation, using a randomised system we will then allocate accommodation to each party according to their needs across all of the accommodation types. For example, if there are 50 x 2 person cottages, 50 parties that requested this will be randomly selected for that type of accommodation; if there are 100 x 4 person cottages, then 100 parties that applied for this type of accommodation will be randomly selected accordingly, and so on for ALL available accommodation.

Ultimately the capacity of the concert venue will determine the number of guests we can accommodate.

In an ideal world, we would like a clever piece of software that could do this automatically and in real time… but the cost of such bespoke software would be prohibitive and still would not take into account the human element of applications (such as mis-spelt code words for group sharing). We want to offer a personal service that accounts for this, and we also want to be as fair as we possibly can to all applicants, including solo applicants.

STEP BY STEP APPLICATION PROCESS

YOU CAN APPLY ONLINE FROM 5 JUNE 2024 AT 14.00 (UK TIME) UNTIL MIDNIGHT 9 JUNE 2024.

Log in to your Marillion Online Account and click on the Marillion Weekend Booking Form Link (the box is on left hand side, with a "GO TO BOOKING AREA" link).

If you do not have a Marillion Online Account we recommend creating one AHEAD of the application opening date - you can do this by CLICKING HERE.

Complete all the details required on the form.

When you apply, we will need the following information for *ALL* members in your party: full name, postal address, e-mail address (if available), date of birth and passport number.

Remember to select your preferred type and size of accommodation - this will help us to allocate the most suitable accommodation for you.

If you wish to share accommodation with other parties who are making a separate application then you must all agree on a single, UNIQUE code word to be included on your form so that I can link the applications to the same accommodation.

PLEASE USE *ONE* UNIQUE CODE WORD THAT NO-ONE ELSE IS LIKELY TO USE!!

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ALL HAVE THE CORRECT CODE WORD.

Select the "I know who I would like to share with" option and then enter the code word..

Please do not select a cottage type or size that is smaller than the number of people in your party as I cannot allocate more than one cottage to a booking on the system - you will need to make 2 (or more) bookings with the correct size for each party and select the “I would like to be near party” option. Then enter the same code word (ONE WORD!) in the box on the forms.

PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO "BEAT" OUR SYSTEM BY MAKING MULTIPLE BOOKINGS FOR THE SAME PEOPLE IN A PARTY USING DIFFERENT ACCOUNTS. THIS CREATES ADDITIONAL WORK FOR US AND ANY APPLICATIONS FOUND TO BE DOING SO WILL BE CANCELLED!!

Once we have received your completed application form we will send an automatic email to confirm receipt.

THIS IS NOT A CONFIRMATION OF YOUR BOOKING, ONLY A CONFIRMATION OF RECEIPT OF YOUR REQUEST AND A SUMMARY OF THE DETAILS YOU HAVE SUBMITTED.

This email will contain your Reference Number.

Please quote this number in any correspondence with Marillion Weekend.

Please check that all details are correct and email us if there are any errors.

The booking applications will be processed and if you are successful you will receive a deposit request on or just after 28th June.

SECURING YOUR BOOKING

To secure your booking -

A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of £200 per person (all children aged 2-14 £100) is required IMMEDIATELY upon receipt of deposit email request.

Once we have received your deposit your booking will be secured.

On the application form you can select from a choice of DEPOSIT payment methods.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL DEPOSITS PAID ARE NON-REFUNDABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES !!

DEPOSIT PAYMENTS

DEPOSITS may be paid using Credit cards / Debit cards**

If you are in the UK we would prefer it if you could pay via bank transfer.

If you are in The Netherlands we would prefer it if you would pay via The Web Holland (bank transfer).

**We accept payment via the following credit cards/ debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Eurocard, Maestro, JCB, Visa Electron, Delta.

We DO NOT accept Discover, Diners Club, American Express, Cheques or Luncheon Vouchers.

If you have chosen to pay the deposit via your Marillion Online Account we will send you an email with details of how to pay via your Marillion Online Account.

If you have chosen to pay the deposit via bank transfer (in Sterling drawn on a UK bank) we will send you an email with details of how to pay.

IF YOU HAVE CHOSEN TO PAY THE DEPOSIT VIA THE WEB HOLLAND, PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS WILL BE DETAILED ON THEIR WEBSITE AND THEY WILL ALSO CONTACT YOU VIA EMAIL WITH PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS.

THE REQUEST FOR A DEPOSIT EMAIL IS CONFIRMATION THAT YOU HAVE BEEN ALLOCATED A SPACE, NO OTHER EMAIL WILL BE SENT.

BALANCE PAYMENT

The BALANCE of the booking fee is due no later than 3 February 2025.

If you are in the UK, all balance payments MUST be via bank transfer.

An email invoice will be sent by 31 January 2025 requesting the balance of the booking fee, which must be paid upon receipt and no later than 3 February 2025.

If you are outside of the UK and have opted to pay your deposit via Marillion Account you will have to pay the balance via PayPal.

An email invoice will be sent by 31 January 2025 requesting the balance of the booking fee, which must be paid upon receipt and no later than 3 February 2025.

If you have chosen to pay via The Web Holland payment instructions will be detailed on their website and they will contact you via email with payment instruction, requesting the balance of the booking fee which must be paid upon receipt and no later than 3 February 2025.

If full payment is not received by the 3 February 2025, this will result in the cancellation of your booking.

Final confirmation letters will only be sent to the Primary Booking contact (unless you have selected others in your party to receive them when you completed your original booking).

This letter will act as your ticket which you need to bring to the check-in at CenterParcs to receive your Welcome pack (which will contain your wristbands and accommodation key).

A final booking confirmation letter will only be sent by E-MAIL when ALL FINAL payments have been received. This should be on 28 February 2025.
