CenterParcs Port Zélande

I will not be driving. What is the best way to get to CenterParcs?

Public transport options to get to CenterParcs Port Zélande are very limited. We recommend flying to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport or Rotterdam Airport and taking the shuttle coach service Res Nova will be providing (see below). Alternatively check with your local Official Web Fan Club (listed at www.marillion.com/web) as several may be organising direct coach trips.

If you are arriving by train we would strongly recommend that you travel to either Schiphol or Rotterdam airports and use the shuttle service detailed below

Travelling by Plane

We recommend flying in to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport or Rotterdam Airport. Coach company Res Nova will be running a ticketed shuttle service to CenterParcs from both these airports (see below). This service will be run directly by Res Nova under the management of Janneke Hordijk and Andre de Jong, who successfully organised the coach transportation for the Marillion Weekend 2007 and 2009.

Please DO NOT email your flight details to us as we will not being administrating the shuttle transportation this year.

Trains to Amsterdam Schiphol are available from Antwerp and Brussels airports if you are interested in using the shuttle service.

Travelling by Train / Bus / Taxi

If you are arriving by public transport we would strongly recommend that you travel to either Schiphol or Rotterdam airports and use the dedicated shuttle service detailed below.

Public transport to Ouddorp is only available from Rotterdam Central Station (via underground and 2 different buses – journey will take approximately 2 hours and cost around €10)

The nearest train station is Maassluis. From Maassluis you can get a taxi to Port Zélande at a cost of about €80

Online train time tables are available at www.ns.nl (Dutch and English)

Online time tables for all types of public transport together at www.9292ov.nl (Dutch and English)

Ticketing information is available at www.ov-chipkaart.nl (Dutch and English)

  • Shuttle Schedules

On Friday 25 March the first shuttles will leave Schiphol from 10:30am. There will be a continual service leaving the airport regularly. (Appropriate departures will be leaving Rotterdam according to demand). The last shuttle is likely to be scheduled to leave Amsterdam (Schiphol) and Rotterdam airports at around 18:00 on Friday 25 March, so please ensure that your flights arrive well before this time.

On arrival at Schiphol, please make your way to the MEETING POINT in the centre of the hall. This point is mentioned on every information display all over Schiphol. The meeting point is painted in large white and red blocks (it can't be missed!). Res Nova coordinators will be waiting to direct you to the coaches waiting in front of the hall. Andy Rotherham from the Web UK will also be on hand to assist you.

Return shuttles on Monday 28 March will be scheduled subject to demand. The first shuttle is likely to be scheduled to depart for Amsterdam (Schiphol) airport at around 05:00 on Monday 28 March. For the return to Schiphol airport, you will receive a ticket in your Welcome pack at Check-in detailing the bus number and the time of departure from Port Zélande. Due to the traffic density expected on Monday morning, shuttles will leave Port Zélande approx 5 hours before departure flight times. (A list of departure times will also be posted on the Reception window for those who lose their tickets!!) Res Nova representatives will be available at reception at 17:00 Saturday 26 March to discuss any queries. (CenterParcs and Marillion staff will be unable to help with any queries)

If you are planning to extend your stay in Holland and will arrive before Friday 25 March or depart after Monday 28 March you will still be able to arrange shuttle transfers to/from CenterParcs on the Friday and Monday. Please make this clear on your shuttle booking form.

    Important Information

Please note that Marillion/Marillion Weekend are NOT organising the airport transportation. Res Nova will be handling all details including collation of flight details and coordinating the shuttle schedule.

Payment will be taken separately from any Marillion Weekend payments.

It is your responsibility to contact Res Nova directly with your full travel information. Please do not contact the convention email address with any queries relating to shuttle transportation as they will not be answered.
