Andrew Morris - Adventure Factory (Afternoon)
I was born Andrew Maxwell Morris in Melbourne, Australia. I lived down under until the age of 9. In the middle of that, my dad shipped me to Fiji for a couple of years and then back to Melbourne. At the age of 9, my parents packed up the Australian dream we and left for the shores of the United Kingdom, where I have lived on and off for the past 15 years, studying, writing and playing in bands and on my own on the acoustic stages of London and the South West. Its been an interesting journey this far...
Through my childhood journey I saw countries you could only dream of deserts in Saudi Arabia, Wadis in Oman, the Sultans palace in Brunei and jungle in Malaysia and Fiji. I've met so many amazing people, like ships in the night who have left a mark. A traveller at heart, I write music with an open mind. Thrown into piano lessons at the age of five and wrote my first song at 12, I went onto become a drummer and then a guitar player at 15, and the rest is just history. I have always been a songwriter and even when not writing, I am thinking about songs, lyrics, ideas.
Supported Marillion at Hard Rock Cafe, played at Glastonbury and just about to release a second EP. My last EP was ' hotly tipped' by iTunes.

The Reasoning - Main Stage (Evening)
The Reasoning are a Cardiff-based six-piece rock band, formed in 2005, featuring the vocal talents of Dylan Thompson and Gareth Jones alongside Rachel Cohen, who was voted Best Female Vocalist by the UK’s Classic Rock Society for an unprecedented four consecutive years between 2000 and 2003. With widespread influences drawn from the rock, metal, folk and pop genres, The Reasoning’s “sound” is a dynamic confluence of the classic and the contemporary, combining dual guitars and three lead vocalists to produce breathtakingly powerful rhythm, spine-tingling harmony and irresistibly captivating melody.
The band’s debut album Awakening (released in 2006) has garnered worldwide critical acclaim, and boasts a guest appearance from Marillion’s Steve Rothery! Their second album - Dark Angel – was released in Autumn 2008 and continues to generate growing interest amongst music audiences and within the media, whilst responses to and reviews of The Reasoning’s live performances are unfalteringly enthusiastic.

Anne-Marie Helder - Adventure Factory (Afternoon)
Anne-Marie Helder is a British singer-songwriter who is famed for her stunning, emotional and powerful voice, and magical songwriting ability. Nicknamed the 'Little Red Rock Chick', her captivating stage presence, warm persona & passionate performances have earnt her a devoted international fanbase who loyally follow all of her musical projects. She also fronts the band 'Panic Room', plays with 'Mostly Autumn', and is a busy session musician - most recently touring as guest vocalist for 'Icon', with John Wetton & Geoff Downes of ASIA.
Anne-Marie is widely respected as a gifted multi-instrumentalist: playing guitars, keyboards, flute, percussion, and anything else thrown her way! But her talents are perhaps best realised when she is witnessed as a solo artist - here, in the intimate arena of a solo performance, she can be freer than anywhere, and immerse fully in the music and the occasion.... as she will be doing at this year's Marillion Weekend. Accompanied solely by her acoustic guitar, Anne-Marie will perform a special selection of her own original material, chosen just for the event; and this Sunday afternoon set promises to be a beautiful and spellbinding show. 'The Contact' will be on sale at the main merchandise stall, all weekend.

Pete and Rob’s Experimental Whimsy - Main Stage (Evening)
A duo featuring me (Pete Trewavas) and my good friend Robin Boult.
I first met Robin when age 7 I found out he was having guitar lessons and I wanted to learn myself. Finding a love of guitar and music in common as well as football, we quickly became best friends and have been so ever since. We learned to play guitar together formed our first bands together and carried on playing together until a craving for more success as musicians lead us are separate ways. Ever since we have both wanted to work together again and re capture that early excitement of music. This convention is a perfect way for us to play together again. - Pete
Pete & I first got together at a pretty young age & started on a musical road of Jazz bands, Big bands, Orchestras (as we both played other instruments , countless lunchtimes hammering the school piano, a very weird brass band, rock bands & in between all that, a love of football. In the end, the desire to make records & tour, meant we got involved with different band/projects, but we always kept in touch & often spoke about working together on something. Our friendship has remained constant throughout the years & It's a real pleasure to be working with Pete again after all this time. - Robin

A Genuine Freakshow - Main Stage (Evening)
A Genuine Freakshow describe themselves as an alleged 7-piece, experimental, post-everything, pop bonanza. A broad range of influences gives the music they create an interesting blend of classic pop with unpredictable structures and epic climaxes. Their eclectic line up, including a two piece string section and trumpet player to boot, makes for an intensely interesting and engaging live show.
"A six-piece, experimental, post-everything, pop bonanza' and as you'll hear, A Genuine Freakshow are even better than that. What an absolutely marvellous band" Tom Robinson, BBC 6Music
