| Step-by-Step in a Nutshell |
| First, complete the Online Booking Form, or download a form to post or fax. |
| To secure your booking, a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit
of £70.00 per person (including all children aged 2-14) is required.
The balance of the booking fee is due no later than the week commencing 2 February 2009 |
| If full payment is not received by the week commencing 2 February 2009, this will result in the cancellation of your booking. You may also choose to pay the full fee at the time of booking. |
| When you book your tickets, we will need the following
information of all members in your party: full name, postal address,
e-mail address (if available), date of birth and passport number. |
| Once you have submitted your booking you will receive an automatic email confirming receipt and the details you have entered on the online booking form. To help protect the planet we will not be sending out initial booking confirmation letters after you have placed your booking - this will reduce the consumption of paper and printing and delivery impact on the environment. |
| A final booking confirmation letter will
only be sent by post when final payment is received. We will aim to send all final confirmation letters out by the end of February 2009. |

| Availability of all accommodation for bookings made by fax or post may be unavailable upon receipt of your booking forms. We would advise using the Online Booking Form for fastest and most accurate service. |

| Methods of Payment and Payment Dates |
| We accept payment in Pounds Sterling by the following Credit and Debit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, Eurocard, Maestro, JCB, Delta. We DO NOT ACCEPT Electron, Discover, or American Express credit cards, nor payment in cash. Using a Credit Card automatically converts currency; please contact your bank or credit card provider for current exchange rates. |
| Please make sure you have enough funds in your account for the payment to be authorised. If you do not live in the UK it would be advisable to contact your bank/card provider IN ADVANCE OF BOOKING to inform and authorise them to process the payment to 'Marillion Convention'. We had a lot of cards declined last year because the card providers deemed it to be an "unusual" transaction on your account. Please do this for both the deposit and balance payments. |
| If your card is due to expire before the balance payments are due to be taken on week commencing 2 February 2009 please ensure that you send the new card details to us via Fax: +44 (0)1296 770 839. |
| If you wish the balance to be taken from a different card because you no longer have that card (e.g. changed or stolen) you must send the new card details to us via Fax: +44 (0)1296 770 839. If you do not supply valid credit card details for the final balance payment your booking will be cancelled. |

| Other Payment Methods |
| When paying by cheque, money order or International Bank Draft, you will have two weeks from the time of booking to send your cheque to us, otherwise your booking will be cancelled. Any cheque MUST be in Pounds Sterling drawn on a UK bank and payable to 'Marillion Convention'. Please write your full name, postal address, and Booking Reference Number on the back of your cheque. |

| What if I'm coming by myself (or as a couple) and don't know any one else? |
| In 2007 many of you volunteered to share after our appeal to free up accommodation and as a result many new friendships were made. Hopefully we can unite more of you in 2009! |
| The best thing to do would be to visit the Marillion
Weekend section of the Marillion
Online Forums to see if there are other people like you looking
for others to share. Please remember not to give out personal details
such as phone numbers on the Forum - instead, once you think you've
found someone to share with contact each other privately via email
for further details. |
| If you are unable to do this, please let us know on your booking form and
we will find other guests to match you up with. As long as you have provided full email details on your booking form we will be able to let you know before the event any details of who
you will be sharing with. By giving us your email in this instance you agree to us passing on your email to any potential cottage-mate. |
| Please remember that in all cases there are two single beds in each room, therefore your bed will be in the same room as the person you will be sharing
with. However all the beds are single beds which can be moved around the room if required. |
We will do our very best to match same-sex guests (men with men, women with women) and smokers/non-smokers. |
| Simply select the sharing option on the booking form. If you have not already selected the share option on the booking form, please contact us after you have booked to let us know you want to share. |

| How can I arrange to share with specific other people also going to the Weekend? |
| Ideally, it would be helpful if you could organise with all the people you wish to share BEFORE booking and submit your booking as one complete party. |
If you have already submitted a new booking and wish to share accommodation with a party that have already booked, please contact us with the Primary Booking Contact names and Booking Reference Number of all involved parties and we will endeavour to place you together. |

| What if I don't want to share with anyone? |
If you prefer not to share your accommodation with
other convention-goers, and your party does not fill the accommodation
to capacity, then you will
be charged an additional supplemental fee. Please note, children under 2 will not be included when calculating occupancy. Supplemental fees will
be: |
| Standard £50 per person under-occupancy, or:
Two (2) guests only in a 4-person apartment/cottage: £100
Three (3) guests only in a 4-person apartment/cottage: £50
Five (5) guests only in a 6-person cottage: £50
Seven (7) guests only in an 8-person cottage: £50 |
